Where the setup fee goes
The setup fee pays for the work of building your desk. Here's where it goes.
Your price list, built
We turn your last 20–30 quotes into a structured price list, with tiers, setup fees, and per-head and per-day rates.
Channels connected
Your quoting email address, plus WhatsApp on the official Business API once it launches. Customers notice nothing.
Templates in your voice
Quote wording, reminder tone, deposit rules per job type, all written with you so it sounds like your business.
Training & go-live
We run your first week's enquiries with you, tune the list, and hand over a desk that already works.
Pricing questions
Why is there a setup fee at all?
Because a desk that quotes wrong is worse than no desk. The fee pays for a person to build your price list, connect your channels and test against your real enquiries before anything goes live. If you'd rather not pay it up front, All-inclusive absorbs it into the monthly.
What do the monthly volumes cover?
Enough conversations and notifications for a typical quoting desk. Most businesses never reach the limits. Past them, it's R 12 per extra conversation and R 2,20 per notification, itemised on your invoice. No rounding up, no bundles expiring.
Is there a cheaper tier for low volumes?
Not yet. Stubie is priced for desks handling real enquiry volume. If you're quoting fewer than ten jobs a week, the maths may not work for you, and we'll say so on the demo call rather than sign you up.
What happens if I cancel?
Build & Run: 30 days notice, any time. All-inclusive: at the end of the twelve months, then month to month. Either way you get a full export of customers, quotes, price list and history.
Does Stubie take a percentage of payments?
Never. Customers pay by EFT straight into your own bank account. The flat monthly fee is the whole price.
