Quoting software for South African businesses that quote by email
Every enquiry becomes a priced quote.
Stubie reads each enquiry, prices it off your own list and drafts the quote. You approve it in two taps. Then it chases the payment until the money reflects in your account.
- 51 sfrom an email landing to a priced draft
- 18 sfrom your Approve to the customer’s inbox
- 0%of your orders, ever. One flat monthly fee
Timings from a live order of 120 embroidered T-shirts, 29 September 2026.
Stubie reads enquiries the way your customers actually write them.
Half a sentence, a photo of a sketch, a drawing attached as a PDF: if your customer sent it, Stubie reads it and turns it into lines on a quote.
How an enquiry becomes a paid order
Four steps from message to money, and only one of them is yours.
- Step 1
Reads every enquiry
An email, a photo of a sketch on a serviette, a PDF drawing, a spreadsheet of sizes. Each one becomes a single, structured enquiry in your queue, oldest first, with the attachments still on it. WhatsApp is coming soon.
- Step 2
Prices it off your list
Line by line, from your own price list: quantity breaks, set-up fees, per-garment extras. Anything that isn't on the list waits for you with a note. It never invents a price.
- Step 3
You approveyour step
Enquiry and draft quote on one screen. Two taps, or a slide on your phone, and it goes out under your business name. Every quote waits for you unless you switch on automatic sending, within limits you set.
- Step 4
Collects the money
Acceptance creates the order on hold with its own payment reference. The customer pays by card or Instant EFT through PayFast, or by EFT straight into your account; when the payment lands, the order releases to the workshop.
Try the desk yourself, with a sample price list
Pick your industry, send an enquiry the way your customers do, and take it all the way to paid. It takes about a minute.

Made for quoting in South Africa
Prices in rand with VAT on every line, EFT references that match payments to orders, and enquiries in English or Afrikaans.
It never guesses a price.
Prices come from your list or they wait for you. “Couldn’t price line 3, it’s in your queue.” Set it once and the list remembers.
Reads English and Afrikaans, even in one message.
Customers accept on a page with your name on it.
Customers get one link to a quote page with your branding, a PDF and an Accept button. You see every view: “Opened 2× by the customer.”
See the hosted quote pageA reference for every order.
Each accepted quote gets its own EFT reference, so a payment matches itself to the job. No more reading bank statements against an inbox.
Approve from your phone.
A push when a quote is ready, the enquiry and the price on one screen, and a slide to send. Built for a thumb, in sunlight.
Status only moves forward.
Every quote shows exactly where it is. A solid dot means one thing: paid.

Common questions
Does anything send without me?
Not unless you choose it. Every quote waits in your queue until you approve it: enquiry and price on one screen, two taps to send. Some owners later switch on automatic sending for small repeat jobs, under an amount and a daily limit they set.
Where does the money go?
Into your own accounts. Customers pay by EFT into your bank account against a reference made for that order, like STB-7K4M, or by card and Instant EFT through your own PayFast account. Stubie never holds, routes or takes a percentage of your money.
What if it can't price something?
It says so and queues it: “2 of 5 lines need a price before this quote can be approved.” You set the price once and your list remembers it. It never invents a price.
Do my customers know it's software?
Quotes go out under your business name, from your number or address. Stubie never claims to be a person, and it appears only as a small “Powered by Stubie” line on the quote page.
Does it work with Sage, PayFast and Bob Go?
Yes. Customers pay by card or Instant EFT through PayFast on the quote page, accepted quotes go into Sage Accounting as invoices through Sage's official API, and Bob Go courier rates go on the quote, with the courier booked from Stubie at dispatch. Stubie also prices from your Sage stock list and item codes.
What do I need to start?
Your price list (or your last 20–30 quotes, and we build it with you) and the email address you already quote on. A person from our team sets up your desk and runs your first week with you.
